Those were just some of the comments made by netizens after witnessing Bamboo perform after arriving at Francisco Bangoy International Airport in Davao City with the singing police last Saturday, November 24.
The video has earned a whopping 1.8 million views (and counting) on Bamboo’s Facebook page, “Bamboo Music Live.”
Bamboo came to Davao for a concert there and was on his way to Tagum City for another concert. “The Voice” coach and Kapamilya singer Bamboo joined the Singing policemen, members of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) 11 in the Davao Region as they were singing Elesi by Rivermaya.
According to the band vocalist of the singing policemen, they were doing this not only for publicity but because they want to give the warmest greetings to all the visitors through their performance.
The band sang not only love songs and Christmas songs, but they also sang their original compositions. As for the tourist that the policemen wanted to greet and please, well they seemed really pleased.
“Amazing. It’s truly different and not the way we expected to happen. And so surprised, especially the men in uniform welcoming for us.”
Alan Farzano, one of the tourists there said. The tourist looked like they were enjoying the performance with some even taking pictures and videos of the band. A proof that these musicians/policemen are really doing so well through their performance.
An employee at the airport stated that these policemen were singing to give a warm welcome and good vibes upon arrival of different people inside the airport terminal. The policemen band also added that they will practice more to give a quality entertainment and performance.
